Is This Really the #1 Business to Start or Just a Pyramid Scheme | Part 1

There are tons of people out on social media giving business advice. Some of it is good advice, but most of it isn’t good. In this new series watch CapForge’s owner react to different advice videos. He’s an expert in all things business and has 20+ years of experience under his belt. Some of the things he reacts to might even surprise you!

CapForge Founder and Owner Matt Remuzzi reacts to the highest-paying remote job and has some major reservations about it being a pyramid scheme.

Business Advice Video:

Here’s the highest-paying remote job that you can do from anywhere. No degree, no experience, and no social media following required. And you can do it 1 to 3 hours a day. Make sure to save this video so you can find it later. Just in case you don’t believe me, Forbes just announced that this is the highest-paying job for the second year in a row. If you’re new here, my name is Lauren. I help people make income from home with just one to three hours a day. So let’s get into it. What I’m referring to is called digital marketing aka affiliate marketing. This allowed me to quit my education job of 16 years and cover all of our monthly expenses in just 11 months of starting. There’s no team building, there’s no shipping, there’s no creating your own products, and there’s definitely no bugging family and friends. Simply recommending products and services that you find value in and that you love and use yourself. If you wanna know what it is I do and how to get started and how I made 5 figures just this past month comment “me” and I’ll send you all the details.

Matt’s Reaction:

Yeah so somebody’s got a course on affiliate marketing and they told them “Hey the best thing you can sell is an affiliate marketer is a course on how to make money affiliate marketing. So go out and make posts about how people can make money by recommending products, like a course, on how to make money. So there you go. That’s how you can make money, by telling other people how to make money, by suggesting the course.” So is it a giant pyramid scheme? Yeah pretty much. I mean there are other lots of other products that sell via affiliate marketing, but you need an audience, and you need a reason for people to watch what you’re recommending, and have some faith in your recommendation, and that’s not nearly as easy as it sounds. There are a lot of people who make great money doing affiliate marketing, but it’s hard work. And it takes a lot of time, a lot of experience, and a lot of testing, a lot of money to spend on creating ads and driving traffic, and trying to make the spread between what it costs you to drive the traffic and what you make from selling those products. And that’s the reality of affiliate marketing. The easy way or seemingly easy way is to try to convince your friends and family to buy the affiliate marketing course that pays you money for selling the affiliate marketing course. And then they sell it to their friends and family. At the end of the day, the person selling the affiliate marketing course made a lot of money and a few people made a few bucks selling it to their friends and family and social media followers. But nobody really made any money from anything except the person who created the course, at the end of the day. So don’t fall for this start a real business.
