Business Advice Video:
I made 200k my first year as a fitness coach and I’m going to share the three most important things that contributed to my success. Number one is offer a high-quality service. Number two is know your audience. Number three is hard work.
Matt’s Review:
Alright, I like everything he said. I think, you know, providing a great service is a great way to differentiate yourself because so many people out there provide sort of a half-assed service. I think knowing who your ideal customer is does let you send the right message to the right people and not waste time trying to sell people who aren’t going to be interested or aren’t a good fit, aren’t going to pay the price that you want to charge, or aren’t going to appreciate what you have to offer. And I think hard work is 100% the recipe for this. There aren’t shortcuts. There aren’t get-rich-quick schemes that work. There aren’t ways to spend a few bucks buying a course that’s suddenly going to make you 10 grand a month or anything else. Hard work, doing something well for the right people is the secret for having a great business. So there he just gave away the secret. But that’s OK. It wasn’t really a secret to begin with. It’s just the way the world works. There are some people who make quick money or look like they’ve got it all figured out or look super successful. But a lot of times when you pull back the curtain, you realize that that’s not true. They are not doing what they said, or they’re pretending, they’re faking it till they hope they make it, or they’re scamming people or whatever else. There’s not a real story there. The real people putting in the hard work, doing a good job, and targeting the right people, those are the folks who are going to have good long-term successful businesses. So this is great advice. If this is the kind of advice this guy is giving, I would say check out more of his content.
