Today’s newsletter is going to be short because I need you to save your time here and go spend 79 minutes listening to this guy on YouTube.
I know 79 minutes sounds like it’s a lot but in fact there is no fluff and it’s all super relevant and helpful for anyone working on growing a business of any size. In fact, he has a ton more content so if you like this, there is a lot more to check out.
Now I hear bad business advice online all the time and even do my best to try and make a tiny dent in the worst of it with my own thoughts on why it’s bad and what you might want to do instead.
In this case, however, I can’t really find anything to critique at all with the advice. It’s very similar to a lot of what I have said or would say or would like to have said if I’d thought about it!
This video is based on real life experience starting, growing, selling, and buying businesses from scratch up to one hundred million in revenue. It’s smart, practical, and without pretension or fluff.
There is no sales pitch at the end or anywhere along the way. It’s exactly the kind of content I love because it makes me think and learn and question and compare and consider. I honestly wish I had this guy on my advisory board and could meet up with him once a month to compare notes and use him as a sounding board.
OK- that’s enough from me. Go check out the video. Watch it in chunks if you have to, but listen, learn, and grow! It’s really good stuff to think about and then put into practice, I promise!
