Will Pet Owners Want Another Pet Camera?

Okay, so it’s a fancy pet camera. Which I think a lot of people these days have cameras at home that they can access from their phones or from work or wherever they are when they’re not home. So it looks like the only advantage that this one offers is it has some AI, which is a term that gets thrown around all over the place, AI to see if your pet’s doing something weird. And I don’t know how many things they can identify their weird that your pet is doing. And I guess it can track that there’s multiple pets, which you could probably see with your own eyes if you’re looking at the camera. So I don’t know, it just seems like a camera with some extra fancy stuff thrown in. I’m sure they’ll be buyers for it cause there are tons of people that love their pets and don’t have a budget when it comes to buying pet-related accessories and being able to keep track of them when they’re not around. So how well they do in the overall market is probably just a matter of how much this thing costs. If it’s a reasonable amount 30 – 40 bucks, they may very well sell a ton of them. If it’s 300 or 400 bucks I think it’s gonna be a much tougher sell. But at least here in the US, although they don’t sound like they’re maybe a US-based company, you know people are happy to spend money to buy all kinds of stuff. So I’m sure this will do decently. It’s really just one of those products where the demand curve is directly related to the price. The higher the price the lower the demand. But if you can keep the price reasonable you’ll probably find a lot of buyers. So good for them.
