What is the best business to get into to get wealthy? 

I think the best business is one that you wouldn’t expect. For instance, like storage units, something that you have to keep renewing every single month. That’s not glamorous, that looks maybe boring. Those businesses there’s a lot of them that crush it.

Matt’s Reactions: 

Okay. Yes. If you’re looking to get wealthy, really, you can get wealthy doing almost anything if you do enough of it for long enough. So I think the theme of this question is, what’s the best business to get wealthy with? And what he’s trying to get to is, is there a get-rich-quick business or is there a way around that? And her answer is, boring businesses can actually do really well for you. And avoid the glamorous businesses like online content or affiliate marketing or dropshipping businesses. Those may not really get you there, whereas boring businesses will. 

I think the real answer is, you can do it with any business, but you have to do enough of it long enough, well enough. And whatever your passion is, if your passion is antiques, you can get wealthy with an antique business. You just have to grow it to many locations and do a lot of volume and do it for a long time and you can get wealthy or whatever business you have a passion for. The bottom line is just don’t expect to get wealthy quick. You can get wealthy slowly doing anything, but you’re unlikely to get wealthy quickly doing almost anything.
