So I’m not a cat owner but I know there are millions of cat owners including people who work for me who have this exact thing. their cat jumps up on the desk, walks across the keyboard, and is disruptive. Now, do I think this is really solving that problem? No. I think cats will still jump on the desk. They’ll still walk across the keyboard. This is a cool product because it’s different. It lets people have their pets close. People who have their pets to where they’re jumping up on their desks are people who love their animals and are willing to spend money on them. It seems like a cool idea. It’s kind of unique looking. I think you’ll do really well. I think the fact that he’s already raised half a million dollars from 4,000 people says, yeah, there’s a lot of people who think this is a cool idea. Do I think it’s a great long-term product? Hmm, I mean it’s tough. Because I think it’s gonna get knocked off immediately. There will be imitation cat nests all over the place. On Amazon, Shopify, Facebook, you know, within a few months of this thing hitting the market and getting any traction. They’re probably working on them now. So I think it’s something that maybe it’s gonna be tough as a long-term play. Trying to you know be the original cat nest and stay ahead of the competition. Who’s gonna come in and you know offer this thing at rock bottom price or something very similar. But I think it’s a cool idea. I think on the first run he can do pretty well. hopefully, he gets a lot of orders and has some profit built into this first run. I don’t think it’s a, you know, it’s not gonna be a long-term game changer. I don’t think he’s gonna be able to keep the competition out. But for our first pass, it’s a pretty cool idea. I think there’s gonna be a ton of people that are interested. And you know he might be able to stay at the front of the pack for a while. Or ideally, you know sell it to some big pet company that will have the marketing muscle to defend the space and and keep the product at the front of mind for a while. Cool idea. Good luck to him. Probably not a great long-term play. But fun for starting and obviously attracting a lot of attention. Always cool when you put something out there and you find out a lot of people are excited about what you’re doing. That’s always rewarding.
