Matt’s Review:

Okay, Birddy Smart Birdhouse. I can just imagine sitting there getting text from my phone telling me that the bird in my birdhouse are doing stuff. I feel like I get enough text messages as it is, I’m not sure I need text from the birds. But it’s a cool idea. I don’t think it’s an original idea. I’ve seen variations on this that are already out there, so I’m not sure what they’re implying is different about this one. Or maybe there isn’t, their just yet another company launching into this space. 

I like that they use realistic age actors for this because I do feel like this is something that you know older people are gonna be more into. But I don’t know, it’s tech-friendly and lots of people of all ages love animals, so maybe not. Maybe there’d be younger people who would be into this as well. And I’m sure there’s plenty of do-it-yourself options out there for people who wanna make their own smart birdhouse. But – and you know it’s a cool idea. It’s an interesting concept. It’s – I think it would work great as a gift for people to give Christmas time, birthdays, or whatever, for people who are into this kind of stuff. So I mean, maybe there’s room in the market for one more smart birdhouse. So maybe they’ll do well. Looks like they’ve already raised $372,000 as of this video. So you know there’s obviously people interested. It’s not a you know it’s not a groundbreaking earth-shattering idea, but not a bad idea. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they do alright.
