You know how in regular life, over time, without meaning to, you accumulate stuff you’re paying for without really realizing it?
Things like streaming subscriptions, unused gym memberships, car wash memberships, free trials, but then you forget to cancel stuff, and on and on. Life gets busy, and we mostly don’t have time to stay on top of all that stuff, but it adds up.
Well, your business works the same way. You end up forgetting to cancel software subscriptions, extra phone lines you don’t use, insurance you don’t need anymore, marketing stuff you’re not using, and so on.
It can add up to where you can find an extra $1000 or even more in stuff you wouldn’t miss at all if you canceled, but you’ve just lost track of paying for.

Doing this kind of review is also a good place to see if some of the things you are using are still a good price or giving you what you need- you may be able to downsize or get new quotes on things you kind of let slide. We had a client change payroll providers once they realized they had better options and ended up saving over $12,000 a year, and they got more with the new option!
