About CapForge

CapForge Inc. was founded in the second half of 2000 to meet a recurring need: startup companies launched by people with great technology or marketing or business ideas, or all of the above, but with little or no experience in the art of creating high quality, fundable business plans.

At CapForge we have worked at start-ups and have been on the other side of the table trying to raise money from very demanding and incredulous investors. We have also worked with the investors in reviewing deals and in helping companies get prepared for, and get through, the scrutiny of investors to reach the point where funding finally occurs.

This breadth of experience has provided a unique and powerful insight into exactly what is required to get a company funded, and how to create the business plans to make it happen.

In providing this expertise in formal consulting roles, however, we could only reach our local market and that didn't make sense with our own business plan.

Consulting Becomes Software

The solution was to port everything we knew about creating high quality fundable business plans and financial projections into easy to use software that could walk anyone through the process as if we were there but without the high cost and inconvenience of in person consulting.
